Directions to the Gallery from New York City
Take the NJ Turnpike South to the PA Turnpike, Exit 6.
Take the PA Turnpike to the Ft. Washington exit, through the tolls, look for the
sign for Philadelphia which will point to the entrance to Route 309 South. Take
309 to Paper Mill Road (3rd or 4th exit).
At the bottom of the off ramp bear right onto Paper Mill Road, follow for one or
two miles until after going down one steep hill and up another, come to a traffic
light at Stenton Avenue (this will be the first four lane road intersecting Paper
Mill Road).
Turn left onto Stenton Avenue and immediately bear right onto Bethlehem Pike. After
several blocks Bethlehem Pike dead ends at Germantown Avenue, bear left onto Germantown.
The second traffic light is Highland Avenue, turn right. Take the first left onto
Shawnee and the first left, again, onto West Gravers Lane.
The gallery is near the end of the block on the right hand side. Parking is available
in our lot, adjacent to the gallery.
Travel time from New York is approximately 2 hours.
Directions to the Gallery from Center City, Philadelphia
Take I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) West to Lincoln Drive. Merge onto the bridge at
the end of the exit ramp, and remain in the center lane, this will lead onto the
Lincoln Drive.
Proceed several miles to Emlen Street, turn left. Emlen will be the 8th or 9th traffic
light on Lincoln Drive; there is a left turn only lane at the intersection.
Remain on Emlen through traffic lights and stop signs. After several blocks the
road becomes Cresheim Valley Drive. Follow this road to the intersection with Germantown
Avenue, recognizable by the cobblestone strip running down its center. Turn left
onto Germantown Avenue.
Follow Germantown Avenue up the hill until Gravers Lane. (This is one block past
the Chestnut Hill Hotel on the right and has a Talbot's on the far left corner).
Gravers Lane is a one way street that moves in the wrong direction from this intersection.
So proceed one block to Highland Avenue and turn left.
Follow Highland to a stop sign at Shawnee Street and turn left. Turn left again
at Gravers Lane.
The gallery is further down the block on the right hand side. Parking is available
in our lot adjacent to the gallery.
Directions to the Gallery from Washington D.C.
Take I95 North to 476N in Pennsylvania.
Stay on 476 until exit 20, Germantown Pike East.
Turn right at the traffic light onto Germantown Pike and stay on this road for approximately
5½ miles. Germantown Avenue will enter a shopping district and become a cobblestone
street. Borders books will be on the left.
The third traffic light is Highland Avenue, turn right. Take the first left onto
Shawnee and the first left, again, onto West Gravers Lane.
